Key Features
The design building upgrade project consisted of the repurposing and refurbishment of the existing Design Building, a significant architectural work by Peter Stutchbury.
The building was adapted into a new centralised hub, providing offices and amenities for all Callaghan based Information Technology Services (ITS).
A key aspiration for the user group (UoN IT) was to encourage collaboration through supporting infrastructure with a range of spaces including open and transparent floorplan, new works spaces, pods, project rooms, informal and formal meeting spaces, social spaces, industry hubs and innovation and testing rooms.
