Key Features
The Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC) Trades Hub was constructed as part of a larger shared campus between Southern Cross University, TAFE NSW and NSW Department of Education.
The Trades Hub consists of a new 3,100sqm building containing a multipurpose workshop, carpentry workshop, plumbing workshop, drainage and scaffolding yard, timber and materials store, five (5) GLA classrooms, office accommodation, amenities and 150 new car spaces.
The project was designed in a single stage and procured in four stages to suit client budget requirements. The project required extensive value-management in order to ensure that the client’s strict budget constraints were met and was delivered over 24 months.
