This new facility located within TAFE’s Wyong campus provides a fit-for-purpose Animal Studies facility.
The project involved demolishing the old Block K, including existing solar arrays and their supporting structures, followed by the design and construction of Block O.
Block O features a variety of internal learning spaces including:
Small Animal Housing (Temporary & Permanent)
Grooming/Hydrotherapy
Workshops/Classrooms
Surgery
Labs (Wet & Practical)
Imaging Room
External facilities include:
An outdoor space for students and staff
Four outdoor kennels and a dog run
One poultry pen
Two aviaries
A new car park with approximately 11 spaces
The Animal Studies project meets the increasing demand for animal studies on the Central Coast, enhancing educational outcomes through modern, practical learning environments.
