Key Features

This new facility located within TAFE’s Wyong campus provides a fit-for-purpose Animal Studies facility.

The project involved demolishing the old Block K, including existing solar arrays and their supporting structures, followed by the design and construction of Block O.

Block O features a variety of internal learning spaces including:

  • Small Animal Housing (Temporary & Permanent)

  • Grooming/Hydrotherapy

  • Workshops/Classrooms

  • Surgery

  • Labs (Wet & Practical)

  • Imaging Room

External facilities include:

  • An outdoor space for students and staff

  • Four outdoor kennels and a dog run

  • One poultry pen

  • Two aviaries

  • A new car park with approximately 11 spaces

The Animal Studies project meets the increasing demand for animal studies on the Central Coast, enhancing educational outcomes through modern, practical learning environments.
